I first heard about artist dates in Julia Cameron's book The Artist Way. An artist date is a way to inspire creativity. In reality transurfing it is a way to inspire creativity and synchronicity. You do not need to be an "artist" per say to enjoy the artist dates. We are all artist in our own ways because we are spiritual beings having a temporary mortal human life. Artist dates will bring synchronicity to your life by the mere nature of themselves.
Described by Julia Cameron an artist date is "assigned play." From her website: "The Artist Date is a once-weekly, festive, solo expedition to explore something that interests you. The Artist Date need not be overtly “artistic” — think mischief more than mastery. Artist Dates fire up the imagination. They spark whimsy. They encourage play. Since art is about the play of ideas, they feed our creative work by replenishing our inner well of images and inspiration. When choosing an Artist Date, it is good to ask yourself, “what sounds fun?” — and then allow yourself to try it."
Matthew David Hurtado says it is following your highest joy. Reality Transurfing calls it outer intention. It enables you to let go and trust the process and allow for things to happen as opposed to forcing it. There I go again Power vs Force. It enables you to rise your vibration and you know what happens when your vibration rises.
