10 Ways Gratitude Will Improve your Life with Kathie's Coaching

What are you grateful for? Stop and think about gratitude for a minute. Don't label things as good or bad but be grateful for everything. And I mean every single thing. Just give me 5 minutes and do the grateful shift. Be grateful for everything.

Honestly, this is part of my Morning Routine. It helps me to start my day off on the right foot. And it creates an environment where everything grows into more things to be grateful for. Try it!

Did you know that nothing that happens is neither good or bad but -.THINKING MAKES IT SO?? Every single thing is neutral. Take for example the complaint that it is raining and you are labeling it negative. It is neither good or bad it just is. But let's say you do not like it raining, or it has rained for several days in a row and you are actually sick of it. Well, find something to be grateful for, even if it is the fact that it will stop raining. But grow on that. Think about this, what if we never had rain again? There would be so many repercussions from that it would be life threatening. Okay, maybe that is extreme, just go with it. Find something to be grateful for and expand on that.

Here are 10 ways Gratitude Will Improve Your Life

1. Shields you from negativity

2. Makes you at least 25% happier

4. Re-wires your brain

5. Eliminates stress

6. Heals

7. Improves sleep

8. Boosts self-esteem and performance

9. Enhances the law of attraction

10. Improves relationships

On the note of healing, try this next time you have a headache or feel some pain. Try an attitude of gratitude for about 5, maybe 10 minutes. Find gratitude for the pain, even if it is to focus on the pain and the fact that you feel alive because you are experiencing pain. See if you experience a shift. For chronic pain it may be a little more difficult due to the resistance your mind is giving you and that is another topic. But you can and will experience a shift once you let it go.
